Fundraising page

In order for our organization to be successful, we must fund our program. We have corporate sponsorships that help make this possible, but the majority of our funds are raised through fundraising.

We have three different types of fundraisers: General, 50/50, and Individual.

General fundraisers are where 100% of our total profits are deposited into the general fund of the band boosters. This fund helps us to purchase music, instruments, marching band equipment, and concert band equipment just to name a few. Examples of some of these fundraisers are: Home side concession stand, March a thon, and Paulding Meadows.

50/50 fundraisers are fundraisers where the total profits are split equally between the general booster fund and the individual student. Examples of this type of fundraiser are: Selling cokes, Vidalia onions, Indian River fruit and Scrips orders.

Individual fundraisers are fundraisers where the total profit is deposited into the student's fundraising account. The booster club Treasurer maintains the student fundraising account. Money that is "deposited" into your student's account can be used to pay band related expenses. Pleas refer to your student handbook for a complete explanation of student accounts. Examples of Individual fundraisers are: Kennesaw State University Concession Stand, Georgia Dome Concession Stand, and Rock a thon.
